Rollie Pollie Video

We have been working with Mia on the floor with her blanket for weeks trying to get her to roll over on her own. Well, last night she finally did it! We had to sort of prompt her to go to her side, then she figured out her arms and legs on her own. It was so funny to see her reaction all night each time she would roll over. We would clap or cheer, and that sweet mouth would fly open in a huge grin. Today, every time I have layed her down on her blanket, she immediately rolls over the minute I lay her down. Problem now is that she can't get from her tummy back onto her back. After a while of being on her tummy, she gets a little irritable and wants back over That'll be our next project!

And of course, by watching this video, you'll see that Cleo is right in the middle of it! Every time we would clap or cheer she would sit there proudly and stare at us like she couldn't have been prouder of herself! She thought we were clapping for her! Haha! Why is it we are always catching Cleo in these videos? Not mom, not dad, not Bailey, but Cleo?? Cleo loves that baby, and wants to be next to her all the time. I am really glad that she loves her like that, but she's about to get a dose of reality now that Mia is starting to grab at things. She loves our faces now....a lip, a nose, an ear...whatever she can get her hands on. So, when Cleo lays down next to her, Mia will start with a grin and a little innocent pat...pat...pat, and then you see those little fingers scrunch up real tight with Cleo's fur in them! Ruh-roh! I have a feeling Cleo might start spending a lot more time in her "hiding place" under Mia's crib! (Thankfully, all Cleo does when Mia grabs her fur is "kindly" lick her hand as if she's saying "please let go of my fur....ok Mia...you can let go now...I say, would you be so kind as to remove your fingers from my fur?.... remove your hands from my lustrous coat little girl....)

My silly little household, it's so much fun just to be home.
