Mia's Birthday Celebration at Nana and Pepaw's!

Well, I have been organizing my posts on paper, and I have a LOT to catch up on! Several Christmas gatherings, several birthday gatherings, and some extras. As most of you know, I have a hard time selecting just a "few" pictures for my posts, as I don't want to ever forget all the details of her life, so excuse all the many, many pictures. I suppose they are more for my benefit than anything else, as well as for hers...when she gets older. :)

Well, for starters, Momma kind of ruined Mia's ACTUAL birthday with a stomach virus :(
I got really sick, and we had to cancel her party. It just broke my heart, but it worked out really nice. We actually got to have it on MY birthday, at my parents' house, which I felt was neat...getting to celebrate her life, on my birthday. (We celebrated her life 12-12-08, on the celebration of my life 12-16-77.) I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Of course, I had not planned on losing my sweet Harvey on that day, either. So, while it was a sad day for me, after waking up to losing my sweet rabbit Harvey, after 10 years, I felt blessed that I had a distraction, and was surrounded by my family on that day.

We had a really great time, as always, at Nana and Pepaw's House!!

This picture is of Mia's birthday Elmo that I bought for her on her 1st birthday. She was so scared of it on her 1st birthday, that I decided to put it in my trunk that I keep special things in, and pull it out on each one of her birthdays. She was still a little afraid of him this year as well...so maybe on her 3rd she will like him! Haha!

On her actual birthday, I had her open most of her gifts from us at home (post coming soon), but I saved a few for her party with Nana and Pepaw!

All in all, I'd say that even with the circumstances, we had a perfect day for Miss Mia's 2nd birthday! Thank you, Nana and Pepaw!

2 Years I have been blessed with this "beautiful creature", as my Papa would have said. I can't imagine a day of my life without her! She is so much fun now!

She LOVES Snow White, and we watch it 4..maybe 5 times a day! (Called "No" White...with air blowing out of her nose on the "No" part )

Coming close in 2nd place, would be any of the Toy Story movies, which she calls "Chewy Chewy"

She can talk so much, and repeat almost anything we say to her!

She loves chicken nuggets (chicket), she loves cheese (Nummy Cheese), she loves yogurt, and she loves cheese puffs!

Bathtime is her all time favorite, and I have to make sure I have an hour set aside for the whole ordeal!

She gives lots of hugs and kisses, and loves to snuggle now, under the covers with Momma!

She loves to dance to ANYTHING! (She calls Daces...)

She loves anything Elmo, unless he is a toy that sings and talks.

She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

She loves Mommy's phone and all the toddler apps I have on it! (Momma's "Fo")

Cleo is still her best buddy!

Her favorite place to go with me is Books a Million, where we sometimes go to pick out a new book, and she loves to go up and down all of the aisles.

She is always such a great grocery shopping buddy. She never complains, likes to help me put things in the basket, and likes to say "Hi" to people as we pass them. However, if they stop to chat with her, she lays her head against me! Haha!

She loves to put on Mommy's make-up (called Makut)

So many, many things...I will think of more...those are just some of my favorites about my precious 2 year old daughter, Mia Evelynn.
