Dance competition #1

This past weekend we had our very first competition of the season, in Fort Worth. All of our groups did well, and we had a great time! A few days before competition we had our annual "pep rally" for all of the dance groups to cheer them on before their first competition. This pep rally also serves as a "dress rehearsal" for them all. Because the weather had hit so hard, and schools were closed that day due to the snow and ice, we had to find a new place other than at the school auditorium like planned. So we were able to use the ballroom studio owned by one of our mothers. It was a little difficult for the dancers, due to the columns throughout the floor, but they did well, considering. I am not real good yet at capturing good "in motion" photos, so many of these are blurry, but I wanted to post anyways, so that you can get a good idea of the skill of our dancers!

I'm very proud of all of our dancers. They have worked very hard, and have more competitions to come! I have some videos that are coming soon. For now, Miss Mia is waking up from nap...so time to sign off! :)
